Zoo vet activities in London for schoolchildren
We're inviting children to become zoo vets at our Schools Vets in Action event, a role-playing experience for animal enthusiasts. Running from Tuesday 25 - Friday 28 February 2025, children can step into the role of a vet at London Zoo - discovering their incredible work. The Vets in Action workshop is aimed at children aged between 5-8 years old.
After arriving for work at the Zoo’s specially-recreated zoo vet centre, junior vets will help experts examine, diagnose and carry out treatments on soft toys, experiencing first-hand the huge variety of work carried out by the Zoo’s vets, vet nurses and zookeepers.
This 30-minute pre-booked workshop costs £45 per session (maximum 35 children per session) with slots between 10.30am and 2pm.)
