This event is open to school groups learning at a KS1 level.
We're inviting children to become zoo vets at our Schools Vets in Action event, a role-playing experience for animal enthusiasts. Children can step into the role of a vet at London Zoo - discovering their incredible work. The Vets in Action workshop is aimed at children aged between 4-7 years old.
After arriving for work at the Zoo’s specially-recreated zoo vet centre, junior vets will help experts examine, diagnose and carry out treatments on soft toys, experiencing first-hand the huge variety of work carried out by the Zoo’s vets, vet nurses and zookeepers – from a health check to caring for a rescued lion.
