Did you know we have our very own library at London Zoo? Nestled in between Regent’s Canal and the Zoo gift shop, you’ll find the ZSL offices and library.

The ZSL library is one of the major zoological libraries in the world and is open to all.

Come visit us if you want to learn even more about the marvellous animals you met at London Zoo. 

The library contains a wide range of books and journals on all types of animals and their conservation. So, whether you want to learn more about awesome Asiatic lions, or riveting reptiles, we’re sure to have something for you to sink your teeth into.

How to get to the ZSL Library

Find us in the Zoological Society of London's main office building, on the Outer Circle of Regent's Park, approximately 200 yards East of London Zoo's main gate and just next to the ZSL Meeting Rooms.

Be sure to email [email protected] 24 hours in advance to make an appointment to visit the library.
