Redeeming half-price Zoo tickets process

Gold members who renew on Direct Debit have two half-price Zoo tickets per member per year to take family along to the Zoo with them as a thank you for paying by Direct Debit. All ZSL Fellows receive two half-price tickets upon joining and renewing to use with family too.

ZSL Patrons have two complimentary tickets per Primary Patron (one individual selected on the Patronage) to use.

How to redeem your discounted tickets

We have changed the process for eligible supporters to redeem their discounted tickets. As a Gold Member, Fellow, or Patron, you can now redeem your half-price tickets simply by logging into your membership account during the booking process. The discount for eligible tickets will be automatically applied at the basket stage

To book your half-price Zoo tickets, follow these steps:

  1.  Log into your account

Ensure you are using the email address associated with your membership. If you're unsure which email to use, check which email you receive communications about your membership from ZSL.

  1. Select your visit date and the number of tickets needed

Please note, the tickets will show the full price when selecting, and any eligible discounts will be applied in the booking basket.

Having trouble logging in?

If you experience difficulties logging in:

  • Ensure you are using the correct email address (the one linked to your membership).
  • If unsure, check which on email address you receive membership communications from ZSL.
  • If the issue persists, try resetting your password.

What do I do if my discount is not applied?

If no discount is applied at checkout, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

  • You used an email address not linked to the primary members of your membership. Try logging in with the email that receives membership communication from ZSL.
  • Your half-price ticket allocation for the year has been used up.
How do I book additional full-price tickets?

If you wish to purchase additional full-price tickets without automatically using your half-price ticket discounts, you must book full-price tickets using a different email address that is not associated with the primary member’s account.
