London Zoo is one of over 200 attractions around the UK that Blue Peter badge holders can visit for free*. You can also use your Blue Peter badge at Whipsnade Zoo.

A Blue Peter badge is a special award given to children aged 5-15 years old who appear on the Blue Peter show, or in recognition of an achievement.

There are eight different badges, each awarded for different achievements. For example, green badges are awarded to those who show they care about nature, the environment, sustainability, and explaining what they do to help to protect our planet.

How to use your Blue Peter badge at London and Whipsnade Zoos

To gain free entry to either Zoo, each child must have a valid Blue Peter badge card and be accompanied by a full paying adult.

The Blue Peter badge card can be either digital or an actual card, and must be presented at the entrance to the Zoo when purchasing the accompanying adult ticket(s).

Unlike general admission tickets, which must be booked online in advance, tickets for Blue Peter badge card holders and accompanying adults must be purchased at the gate.

*A child, aged 5 - 15 years, who produces a valid Blue Peter badge card at the gate will be given free entry when accompanied by a full paying adult. One full paying adult will be required for each qualifying child and the adult ticket must be purchased upon arrival at the Zoo. If a disabled child with a Blue Peter Badge requires a carer, both the carer and disabled child can enter for free.
