Discover nocturnal wildlife this Halloween
Step inside The Cassons (close to our camels and farmyard) to uncover the mysterious world of nocturnal wildlife. Learn how animals survive and thrive in the dark through fun, hands-on activities and interactive games:
Test Your Senses: Try activities inspired by animals’ unique adaptations for sight, sound, touch, and smell, from bushbaby vision to mole-rat tunnels.
Trick and Treat: Become a myth-buster! Decide which spooky animal facts are trick or true, then claim a sweet treat as your prize.
Golden Pumpkin Hunt
Every day during Boo at the Zoo, a special ZSL-branded golden pumpkin will be hidden somewhere around London Zoo - just for Members, Fellows and Patrons to find. The first to find the golden pumpkin each day, take a photo and report its location to staff in ‘Into the Night’ (The Cassons) will win a prize. Future finders will be able to collect a special sticker to reward their detective skills. With a new hiding place each morning, the hunt is on every day of the half term!
