Zoo Nights at London Zoo

Zoo Nights is back for 2023! As the sun goes down, join us after hours at London Zoo for an unmissable evening mixing wildlife and city life, just for adults this Summer. From 9 June to 28 July, join us from 6pm every Friday to see the Zoo in a whole new light without the kids or the crowds.

Explore our world of wildlife in the heart of the city with the Birds and The Bees guided tour*, where our expert guides will reveal what animals really get up to after dark. Plus, brand new for 2023, you can challenge your friends and test your skills across four zones around the Zoo in a variety of animal-themed games. Do you have the speed of a cheetah or the stealth of a tiger? The mind of an ape, or the steadiness of a sloth? Compete against others and see who will be crowned the ultimate winner!

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, enjoy an array of street food vendors offering exciting flavours and unique dishes from around the globe, with plenty of choice for herbivores and carnivores. Grab a drink from one of our watering holes and chill out surrounded by relaxing music and exciting entertainment. Plus, why not make the evening extra special with a glass of bubbly overlooking our black and white flippered friends at Penguin Beach?*

Tickets will be on sale soon so keep an eye on this page for more details.

What others say

  • Cannot recommend this night enough! Had such an amazing time seeing all the animals (with no kids around!) and the atmosphere was great.
  • Food was excellent, atmosphere fun, loads of happy friendly people. Saw loads of animals before their bedtime and it was nice to wander around the zoo when some of the animals were a bit more active than they are in the daytime.
  • We absolutely loved the evening! It was such a refreshing change to visit a zoo without children. The atmosphere was so calm and peaceful, and everyone could enjoy the zoo, letting out their inner child. Excellent experience!
