From red river hogs to warthogs, we're celebrating all of our pig species at London Zoo!

Do you know why babirusa pigs are Vulnerable in the wild? Or how high warthogs can jump up in the air? Join us at London Zoo for crafts, quizzes and Q&As to learn all about our pigs and why they're so special.
When will World Pig Day activities take place?
Join us on Wednesday 1 March and Saturday 4 March 2023.
What is the schedule for World Pig Day activities?
- 11.00am – Red river hog enrichment and keeper Q&A. Will you be one of our lucky ‘Golden Ticket’ holders and win the chance to give our hogs a puzzle ball filled with their favourite food?
- 11.30am – Kune Kune pig walk and keeper Q&A. Look out for our pigs as they explore the Zoo and learn more about them from their keepers.
- 12.00pm – Babirusa keeper Q&A. Find out all about our pigs' training, routines and personalities, as well as the threats the species faces in the wild.
- 2.30pm – Warthog keeper Q&A. Get to know our warthogs and learn some fun facts about them.
- 3.00pm – Red river hog enrichment and keeper Q&A. Will you be one of our lucky ‘Golden Ticket’ holders and win the chance to give our hogs a puzzle ball filled with their favourite food?
- 3.30pm – Kune Kune pig walk and keeper Q&A. Look out for our pigs as they explore the Zoo and learn more about them from their keepers.
World Pig Day activities are included with Zoo entry.
Under-3's and ZSL Members enter the Zoo for free.
