All about our gorillas
At London Zoo we're home to thousands of animals, from tiny leafcutter ants and beautiful butterflies, to our big cats and giant silverback, Kiburi.
Kiburi is the head of our Western lowland gorilla troop, and father to adorable 'toddler' duo Venus and Juno.
Look out for our gorilla family swinging on ropes in their indoor jungle gym, climbing up onto their outdoor platforms, foraging for food, or tucking into armfuls of fresh fruit and veg.
Visit London Zoo, a conservation zoo
Western lowland gorillas are listed as Critically Endangered in the wild on the IUCN Red List, and the troop are vital additions to the breeding programme for the species.
Every Zoo visit helps to fund our crucial work as part of ZSL, our science-driven conservation charity.
