ZooTown is London Zoo's brand-new immersive play experience, where your learners can become vets, zookeepers, scientists, conservation heroes and more! Exclusive sessions available just for schools linking directly to the EYFS Framework, the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum and The Shaping Us Framework.

ZooTown is a unique space where children can learn through play about jobs in conservation and explore how the people who work at ZSL are helping to restore wildlife and ensure a future world where wildlife thrives.

Key Information

Time: 11:45-12:30 (except w/c 15th Dec, when the session will be 10:30-11:15am)
Duration: 45 minutes 
Age Range: EYFS & Key Stage 1 (ages 3-7)
SEND Friendly: Suitable for SEND learners working cognitively at this level. Please let us know if you are a specialist SEND school or resource base and we can discuss your learners needs in order to adapt the session accordingly

Please note: The space will be closed to the public during your session but you may be sharing the space with learners from other schools

Price

  • £45 per class in addition to zoo entry tickets
  • £36 per class for Education Access Scheme schools 

This session must be pre-booked at least two weeks in advance, and is subject to availabilty.

How to book

  1. Complete a Schools Booking Form and write that you would like to book ZooTown in the 'Any other Information' section at the bottom of the enquiry form.  
  2. If we have availability on your requested date, a provisional confirmation will be sent to you, with final cost and next steps to confirm your booking.
  3. If we are not able to accommodate your requested date, we will work with you to look for an alternative.

    Please note - It is very important that you include your request for ZooTown in the "any other information" section. If you do not include this, only admission tickets will be booked.
