About the competition
The ‘Zoo Nights – Win a date night’ competition encourages people to answer an animal-related multiple choice question for a chance to win a date night at London Zoo’s adults only event – ‘Zoo Nights’ on 9th June 2023.
The competition is owned by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), a charity dedicated to the protection of animals and their habitats.
The competition is open to UK residents who enter by correctly answering an animal related multiple-choice question, supplying their name and email address.
Employees of ZSL, their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
ZSL accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete or illegible for any reason.
How to enter
The Zoo Nights - Win a date night competition opens at 09:00 BST on Thursday 20th April 2023. Closing date for entries is Sunday 30th April 2023 at 17:00 BST.

Before you enter please make sure you have read and understood these terms and conditions.
To enter the competition, entrants must supply their name and email address, they must also correctly answer an animal-related multiple choice question.
The competition is only open to adults aged 18 years or older.
Only one entry will be accepted per person.
Entries received after 17:00 BST on 30 April 2023 will not be entered into the competition.
Prizes and benefits
There will be 10 winning entries. The winning entries will receive 2 tickets to Zoo Nights at London Zoo on the evening of 9th June 2023.
These tickets will allow entry to Zoo Nights for 2 adults. Travel, food, drink and accommodation are not included.
An additional ‘Bonus Prize’ - 2 tickets for the VIP Champagne Experience at Penguin Beach – will be selected from among the winning entries.
By entering the prize draw each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions as well as London Zoo’s General Admission and Experiences Terms.
Prizes are non-transferable and a cash alternative is not available. ZSL reserves the right to terminate, amend or extend this promotion without incurring liability, in the event circumstances affect its ability to operate the competition. We will not be responsible unless required by law, for any loss, changes, costs or expenses, which may arise in connection with this competition and we can cancel or alter the competition at any stage.
Selecting the winning entries
Entries that correctly answer the multiple-choice question will be entered into a random number generator. 10 winning entries will be drawn and awarded 2 tickets each to Zoo Nights at London Zoo on 9th June 2023.
The 10 winning entries will then be entered into a random number generator again. 1 entry will be drawn and awarded the ‘Bonus Prize’ (2 tickets for the VIP Champagne Experience at Penguin Beach).
The winners will be chosen on Monday 1st May 2023 and will be contacted via the email address provided. If, after two attempts, we still haven’t had a response from a winner by Monday 7th May, a new winner will be picked.
General
It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure they have read and understood the competition rules and that their entry complies with ZSL’s requirements.
Any entry found not to comply with the competition rules will be disqualified.
The decision of ZSL on all matters relating to the competition is final and binding. No negotiation will be considered and prizes are non-transferrable.
Liability
Proof of electronic submission is not proof of receipt by ZSL.
Data protection
By entering the competition each entrant agrees that, if they win, ZSL may use their email address to directly contact them and to provide them with the details of their prize.
By entering the competition each entrant agrees that any personal information provided by you with your competition entry may be held and used by ZSL only for the purpose of administering the competition and only for the duration of the competition, unless you have previously opted in to receive marketing communication from ZSL or have selected to opt in whilst entering the competition.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
