Slender loris holding onto a branch in London zoo's Nightlife

Discover the species who make the dark their home in London Zoo's Night Life.

The world’s forests are brimming with life and the night is no different.

So, tiptoe quietly into the forest after dark, let your eyes adjust and peek into the enchanting world of the species who welcome the night.

They're active at night and asleep during the day. To make sure we are all awake at the same time and we don’t disturb them, the lights inside reverse day and night.

They wait for the sun to set and last light to fade before emerging from their daytime hiding places.
