London Zoo's Tiger Territory is home to our Sumatran tiger family and our gibbon duo.
Visitors to Tiger Territory will embark on a journey through an Indonesian habitat, coming face-to-face with our Sumatran tigers through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, before hanging out with our Northern white-cheeked gibbons.
About Tiger Territory
This habitat has been designed with ZSL’s team of keepers, conservationists and experts to ensure that it perfectly suits the needs of our animals. For example, tigers are excellent climbers and like to observe their terrain from a towering vantage point, so there are tall trees and high feeding poles to encourage natural predatory behaviours.
Tiger Territory will inform and inspire a generation of people to treasure tigers and gibbons, and understand their role in their survival. It will also help fund ZSL’s conservation work in the field, providing a lifeline for years to come.
London Zoo's tigers
Tiger Territory is home to Asim, Gaysha and their cub Crispin. Crispin, and his brother Zac, were both born at London Zoo in June 2022.
Zac has recently left to embark on an exciting move to the Maubeuge Zoo in France, where he will be joining a female tiger as part of the global conservation breeding programme for Sumatran tigers.

Name: Zac
Sex: Male
Character: Zac’s the largest of the tiger cubs and loves playfighting. So the cubs are getting an early start on developing their hunting skills.

Name: Crispin
Sex: Male
Character: Crispin is a little quieter than Zac. He’s and is definitely a mummy’s boy and loves to snuggle up to Gaysha.
