Podcast & Teacher Resources - Audiomoves at the Zoo

Audiomoves at the Zoo

Created in partnership with Peut-Être Theatre, suitable for all abilities - EYFS, KS1 & KS2

Audiomoves logo with animals

In these fun podcasts children will meet lots of animals and their zookeepers, and find out how they move, eat, sleep and play!

Each episode features a different animal, and you can learn how to waddle like a penguin, strut like a flamingo, charge like an elephant and flutter like a butterfly! You'll also find out more about the animals that live in our two conservation zoos and hear questions from children to their zookeepers!

These podcasts can be used in the classroom while taking a brain or sensory break, as part of PE, or as a way to liven up your curriculum in other areas.

Includes teacher resources and lesson plans suitable for KS1 and KS2 covering Science, English and Dance with several suggested activities to choose from to incorporate the podcasts into your lessons.

You do not been to have visited one of our conservation zoos to use these packs, however the activities work well as a pre-visit or follow-up activity to a trip.
